Personal Statement about what you can expect from Caroline as your therapist:
Some research shows that perhaps the most transformational aspect of therapy for clients is the quality of the therapeutic relationship (Rogers 1951, APA 2019 etc.). I work to build a strong empathetic foundation with clients so that they can authentically build social, emotional, and physical safety into their own felt therapeutic experience and transfer that sense of control and mastery over their own narrative into their world.
* To promote greater price transparency, and give patients a reasonable expectation of the costs of planned treatment, Congress has passed the No Surprises Act which requires health providers to deliver an advanced explanation of benefits (AEOB) prior to care delivery for both current and potential patients who are uninsured or out-of-network. The AEOB is created by insurers using good faith estimates (GFE) from providers. Currently this Act only applies to those seeking out-of-network care or those who are uninsured. If this applies to you, please copy and paste the URL's in your browser to get more information on this act as well as the provided template which will be filled out by both the provider and client.
